Before the transfer process, it appears as a normal heat transfer vinyl; however, it expands under heat. When Puff HTV is applied to a pure polyester material, particularly lightweight material, the vinyl will rise more. Instructions for Applying Puff 3D Heat Transfer Vinyl After numerous attempts and experiments, we eventually discovered the optimal method for applying puff 3D heat transfer vinyl. Follow these steps to achieve the best results: Optimal Heat and Time Settings: Press firmly and directly onto the transfer at 155 degrees Celsius for 8 seconds– Black, White, Royal Blue, Grey, Red, Fuchsia, Pink, Sky Blue, Neon Yellow, Neon Pink, Neon Green. Press firmly and directly onto the transfer at 155 degrees Celsius for 16-25 seconds– Apple Green, Green, Orange Yellow, Camel, Dark Purple, Neon Orange. Adjusting for Your Specific Heat Press: We recommend experimenting with temperatures to find the ideal setting for your specific heat press. Ensuring Even Pressure: Even pressure is crucial and can significantly impact the outcome of the transfer. Considering Garment Material: The material of the garment plays a significant role. Lighter materials tend to lift the vinyl more, resulting in more pronounced puffiness. Aiming Pressure Precisely: Ensure the pressure of the heat press is precisely aimed at the Puff PU transfer. This tip is particularly important when using a small heat press, such as a Cricut press.
